Founded in April of 2005 during my last semester of college, this site serves as a portfolio of my work in design. Photoshop, BBEdit, Transmit, and of course my beloved iMac are what helped make it possible.

about me

Steve Cochrane As you've probably gathered by now I'm Steve Cochrane, and I'm a web designer, not to be confused with the Canadian progressive rocker or anyone else who happens to share the same name. Web design is not just a job for me, it's a hobby and it sure doesn't stop at 5pm.

When I'm not making websites you'll probably find me playing video games, and I hope to eventually do websites for the video game industry. One of my first memories is getting the original Nintendo Entertainment System for Christmas and playing Super Mario Bros. I must've been only about four years old, but my life's direction was largely set in place on that fateful day. I'm sure you'll see more on the subject in my partly gaming-related blog.

Failing the above two, I'm also prone to rock out on my drums. In fact, I probably rock out a bit too hard (if that's possible?) and have repeatedly angered neighbors. So to continue my hobby without drawing involvement from the local authorities, I've recently acquired some electronic drums. They're fun. My taste in music is pretty eclectic but generally I like music that is very energetic, rhythmic, and creative.
